I think pins 13 and 53 on the EDC ECU are the temp sensor. I'm sure there's a post on here somewhere with the range of resistances, I'll have a search as I think I saved a copy.

The earth and the signal to the relay are working but does it have a permanent live feed? if it does then the relay is dead but if there is no live feed then activating the relay won't supply a voltage to the plugs.

Although it has a two button remote my 300 TDi EDC (Jap import) has no alarm or immobiliser as standard. Doesn't let you know what's causing your starting problems but could be one less thing to worry about if you don't have an immobiliser.

My 300 TDi is fine with nothing more than AT's. I have just fitted a steering guard which took a battering last week so a bit of underbody protection may be worth considering. Having said that I had no issues before fitting the guard and probably got over confident knowing it was there.

Unlike selecting difflock you can only select Hi Low after you have selected N. I spent ages trying to select low range on my auto before I noticed the box was in Park. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.

I've done exactly what you're suggesting, I cut off the union with a hack saw and pushed the rubber pipe a bit further on and secured it with a jubilee clip. It's been fine for the last 6 months but I'm still planning a proper repair at some point.

Yes, I'd uninstall it and delete the installation folder then reinstall from Green Oval and you should be sorted.

I'm on Win 7 as well. Are you using the copy from Green Oval? It sounds as if your copy hasn't been cracked.

textbook answer. If you're using Vista or Windows 7 you'll need to run the batch file as an administrator. Right click the batch file and you should see the option "Run as administrator".
