It says it comes with "1 unlock code" - don't like the sound of that! What's the meaning of that? Do I have to pay some sort of repeat fee each time I use it? I'd much sooner find someone locally who has one or some equivalent and just bung them 50 quid for their trouble, tbh.

AISI, the only thing preventing this engine from running now is the injectors can't be squirting diesel into the bores AT ALL (since there's not even a hint of ignition). So it's looking like a EMU issue at a guess. I've tested the EMU earth point as someone suggested a while back and it's fine...

I was certain it was a TD5 - at first, but then thought the damn thing had been stolen! I was getting conflicting info from here and elsewhere that indicated it might not be what it claimed to be on engine/chassis numbers and reg. doc. Thank god that's been settled!

OK, thanks guys. It's either 4 or 5 cylinders; I can't tell which because of the shrowding that everything seems to come with nowadays just to make life difficult. BTW, it does clearly have TD5 in the impression on the top cover - picture coming up....
