    Face lift kit

I would think its too hard to swap the bits over. Might need to pickup the connectors for the headlight wiring as I believe the lamps are different in the facelift. I've got a Facelift front bumper that's surplus to requirements. It's black, but will need a paint as there's a few cosmetic...

    freelander 1 facelift light guards

Not available from the steelers anymore. They were £130ish new. Had no luck getting a pattern part either UK or EU sourced: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f9/face-lift-headlight-guards-no-longer-available-239895-3.html Last set I watched go through eBay went for £180! I'm now...

    new dilema same freelander!!!

How tight are you doing the spark plug up? It's possible the oil is getting forced up out of the plug hole if the spark plug isnt seating. However you would have plumes of smoke out of the exhuast as oil gets burnt up.

    Something a little different.

landrover freelander 97-06 3dr hard top roof with roof bars | eBay Have to agree though, anything weighty or big enough to generate drag would be unwise to carry with those roof bars.

    Odd steering sound

I've heard an odd sound recently whist steering to the right. I don't need to be at full lock, the sound can be heard at virtually any amount of steering input but I do need to be on the accelerator. Coasting along there is no sound at all. The sound seems random in nature, but there are...

Turbo supplier let me down and lied!!!

Who's he using? I quite often use City Link through Parcel Monkey. I drop my items off anything up to 7pm at night and theyre delivered halfway up the country mid morning of the next day.

    Scratches on front windows

I had 3 scratches on a windscreen at the end of the wiper stroke. They were about 5mm wide, 35mm long. I can't remember where I got the kit, but I bought a polishing pad with drill attachment and some glass polishing compound. I got the scratches out, the car passed it's MOT, but was...

hi steer kit for lifted trucks, something in the pipeline

Have I missed something, or are we having a trolling Friday special? I'm truely struggling to see people's motivation here. The OP will soon be over 50 posts with the baiting you guys are trying if that's your problem. If it's advertising on the forum then an eBay add will sort that seen as...

It would have to be quite cheap! Cutting the inner wing costs nada ;)

    My 2006 TD4 Auto HSE

Stick with it. I never noticed a big difference until I was most of the way through the 2nd tank. With the modular wheels on I'm now averaging 37mpg.

    Dust caps for modular wheels

I think he's talking about these:

    Dust caps for modular wheels

Ideally cut the centre out of a set of steel wheels the covers fit to then weld these on to the modulars (I'm doing something similar once i get a dust cap in my hand to see whats what).

    Egr Blanking Mod

If the clip is slipping when you're trying to get the last turn out of the screw I'd say a new clip is all you need. Exhaust paste is sometimes used when fitting exhaust components together. It's just a tube/pot of heat proof sealant. You can get it from just about any car part outlet, even...

    "Upgrading" front brakes

I'm not surprised. You have uprated pads, stainless lines (to stop excess pedal travel from distorting rubber lines) and performance fluid. I used to run rubber lines on my MINI when I swapped from single pot to 4 pot calipers. The pedal feel was terrible. I thought the new brakes were worse...

    "Upgrading" front brakes

As already mentioned, if you want more stopping power you need more leverage on the disc rotor. This can be accomplished by fitting bigger diameter discs, more power needed? Increase the clamping force with more pistons in the brake caliper. A softer compound pad will help with bite of the pad...

    Lift Kit Group Buy

From page 2 The camber bolts are £30-40 depending on where you look. You'll also be wise to have the geometry set up so factor in £50-90 depending on where you go and how many adjustments need to be made.

    Egr Blanking Mod

It looks like a decent kit. The blank looks substantial enough for the pipe clip to clamp on to. Does the clip feel like its tightening enough? Or does it slip like jubilee clips do sometimes? Have you tried a smearing of exhaust paste on the flange prior to fitting?
