Eyup.
I've got this winch bumper, it's got high lift points on it but the way it's mounted leaves a bit to be desired. It's held on with 3x M10s each side onto the chassis legs.
It's fine for winching off but if you try to high lift jack it, it simply shifts upwards and squashes the trims...
Not headlight adjuster, don't think they are fog light (though there are some spare ones for those), and not side repeater. Couldn't see any similar ones used or not on the other side.
Wing fitted. Bit of a mission. Tomorrow time to put it together and see if everything fits. Brace yourselves, if the bonnet doesn't fit then you'll probably hear the swearing from wherever you are in the world.
And I think I'm still off my tits on paint fumes.
Happy with some bits of the job...
Can anyone who's done this give me any tips on getting it aligned up? What datum points did you measure off the original before cutting? Did it all go back alright?

Then I'll smooth hammerite the lot once it's...
Bloody right they can, 16 hours after ordering :)
Not seen them yet, they're at work, but tomorrow.... sikaflexing seams. Then a couple of coats of primer, ordered some bonda primer but does anyone know if you can get red lead anywhere any more?
hahaha.
I wish.
Don't chuck the chrome ball if it's alright, I think some of the serious off road guys really like them compared to the new coated ones.
My mate looked on forces supply chain thing and can't find any record of it, also says that they never used chassis paint at all as they wanted to be able to see the chassis, and that nato stock number is in wrong format. he was a rear entry made easy type for 20 years so suspect he would know...
Also when I removed the outer wing, the seam just in front of the door is looking really crusty, all the seam sealer peeled off and been rotting away in the gap. I just gave it a blathering of oil for the moment. No holes I could find with my "batter it with a pointy chisel" test. Thinking just...
