    P38A ERG boost valve

No P38 was ever fitted with a variable rate turbo charger and have no electrical parts fitted to the turbo. If you can find the photo I will tell you what the component is and what it does. Bit better thanks, the pressups and star jumps seem to be working. :D;)

    P38A ERG boost valve

Variable rate turbos and EGR are seperate functions and not connected in operation.

    P38A ERG boost valve

It doesn't. They are fitted to variable rate turbos to change the angle of the drive blades and gain more boost at lower RPM.

Hope you have extended leads if it's an early model car. :D

    EAK code

Don't know if Hawkeye will do it but know Nanocom can.

    EAK code

Just go into BECM in diagnostic mode with Nanocom and delete need for EKA and immobiliser.

    p38 weirdness?

When rising the rears always go up first when dropping the fronts always drop first. Valves in wrong places, pipes in wrong places. Yes it is a very simple job but you simply have to do it properly.

    p38 weirdness?

Sounds like you have cocked up the valve block rebuild.

    P38 DSE and Injector light

1999 did still suffer to some degree but only because of chain stretch retarding static.

    P38 DSE and Injector light

Need for hot start was supposedly negated in 1999 and on models when lift pump with cranking was introduced.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

The delay relay could be switching more often than it should the ECU could be switching the wrong parts of the driver pack or the driver pack could have failed. All should be checked and illiminated.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

The delay relay switches on the ECU every six hours to self level, the car can only level downwards. The only possible way the car can rise is high pressure stored air leaking past the inlet valve and forcing past the corner valves with the gallery exhaust closed. Your problem is finding how...

    P38 DSE and Injector light

The hot fix interrupts the wire from green sensor to ECU. Find colour code of wire and trace it in ECU box.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

Self level does not drain the tank. But a leaking fill/vent gallery inlet valve will cause the car to rise even if the battery is disconnected. Think you need to learn a bit more about how the system works to be honest.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

It switches the ECU on and off, if the ECU has no power to it it cannot do anything.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

Fault in your ECU then. Or delay relay.

P38A Is my mojo rising..... or do I need a new Driver Board?

If the car rises whilst parked the inlet valve from tank to fill port is leaking. Nothing to do with driver pack. Which is a slave of the ECU.

P38A DSE Throttle but no revs

After all above is said, if engine runs it should still transision between idle and throttle. Rough as a bears arse maybe but still do it.

P38A DSE Throttle but no revs

Should be plenty of space to turn pump either way. Looks like garage got link count wrong crank sprocket to pump sprocket. Should be twelve raised links timing mark to timing mark. That would also put valve timing out.
