Nanocom will not retrieve the EKA code. If the BECM is unlocked EKA is visible as is the fob code. If the BECM is locked (normal factory condition) neither are visible. Nanocom cannot unlock the BECM.

Typical happy amatuers playing with things they know nothing about. A more simple way would be to increase spring pressure on the waste gate. There is plenty of boost if all is woking correctly, leave it as it is.

I have explained the EGR function on the P38 several times. The later versions on vehicles fitted with variable rate turbos are far more complex. I have also explained how these work. I do not intend to repeat it all again.

Only thing I can think of that they could be refering to on a P38 is the EGR vacuum solenoid. This is used by the ECU to activate and control the operation of the EGR valve. But it has nothing at all to do with pressure boost. It would appear there are people about who don't have a clue how the...
