EKA code has nothing to do with ECM to BECM sync.

I have explained that the motor drives the flap in each direction in turn until the flap reaches the stops and the motor stalls. The ECU notes those positions and sets a mid point position. The motor MUST be correctly assembled and fitted BEFORE power is applied.

Read the code on the windscreen lower n/s lip. Take that to a dealer he should be able to provide EKA code. If you owned a Nanocom and knew how to use it you could disable immobiliser and need for EKA to start car. The fob is out of sync it will do that if you take longer than ten mins to change...

Yes that sounds reasonable valve not being activated in that case, maybe I was harsh with Grrrr comment.
