sounds like it's axle oil, leaking into the swivel housing, seals might have gone...but if i'm wrong please somebody correct me, if it is that, it's not complicated just time consuming

alpine 4" ones are a snug fit, but do fit ok, mine are those and have the original face plates ontop, nice crisp sound too

replaced one of two bump stops on the Disco, and the mudflap plate, that extends from the inner wing...the other one fell to bits, then had to re-work the bracket from that that goes to the bootfloor, **** poor fit, but good now

been doing the swivel seal on ONE! side for the last two days...epic fail...but learnt alot in the process :doh:

i need to get the bottom pin out presumably to change the bottom pin bearing ?

i want to also replace the bearings for the pins also, as i have a kit, any idea what size the torx bolts are, it mentions nothing in the rave CD about these

do you know what size the two torx bolts are

make sure if you decide to do the mod you seal the end of the vacuum pipe, or it can affect the brakes on the your Landy I actually have a spare new in packet EGR plate/gasket, and bolts if you need one pm me for details :)

as the above says, i have been reading/looking at Busters thread regarding this. is there any additional advice/tips i need to know before doing these, i am going to try to do at least one of them tomorrow anyway (if weather allows)
