Our two TD4s take exactly 6 litres for an oil & filter change. Using either drain plug removal or sucking the oil out via the dipstick makes no difference. Been doing it for 8 years now.

Without the air intake hose but with the S shaped, the cost with clamps is £125. The air intake hose is relatively cheap but generally considered unnecessary. Compared with standard hoses the silicon ones are pretty expensive.

You need the 36mm socket that is meant for the oil filter. It will cost about £6 and will soon pay for itself if you are going to do your own oil changes. WIX filters fit the spigot well. Gaylander ???
