    It's ok lower gears higher revs ...but higher gears lowers revs when under load trying to climb slight gradients, hoping this week to get to the bottom of it.

    Thank you Andy, I'm hoping to get it sorted soon, only had her 2 weeks and when its drives without the faults its absoulety superb then suddenly drops power .....could a miss-adjusted actuator cause this? Sorry for my newbie questions.

    Thank you very much for recommending the Foxwell I went for the NT520 giving that you had have great success with it and the NT530 didnt have as much backing.

    My apologies I forgot to refer to that one, the fuel pump was changed and fuel tank clean I think in 2015, I am hoping it's not, I will give that a check with the multimeter, just a shame only had it less then 2 weeks and it's been off the road with this problem. :( I dont feel so confident...

    The test recommended was to watch live data which I'm going to so hopefully when the foxwell turns up soon! The res plug is clean that was my first port of call. It had a new injector harness and injector washers and seal back in 2016 when this happened ECU was sent away to be checked...

    I just followed a thread on here which someone unplugged the clutch switch and that seemed to have worked for them, I'm just trouble shooting but I dont feel convinced it's the TPS. I could be wrong.

    I presumed the receptionist meant the TPS ....they said it was expensive .....but it's not storing any codes......my revs dont drop when clutch is depressed ....disangaing the clutch switch didnt work ...scratching my head which way to go

    Just an update TD5s been to the doctors today and my garage are saying possibly the throttle body actuator? Could be causing the problem. Just looking at parts now. Just wondered what's peoples thoughts on that.

    Intermittent Fault

    I am suffering from this problem myself ...no codes and I have to turn the key off and on to resolve it or stick it in second and rev hard ......no codes either but I am waiting for my foxwell 520 to arrive.

    :) That is great to hear, landy is going into the garage on Friday so hopefully further investigation they will be able to find what's causing the intermittent power loss .....I am thinking of changing the actuator and the control module solenoid thing o_O, cant think if really anything else it...

    Appreciate the recommendation, I was looking at the Hawkeye but this Foxwell puts it to shame really compared to price and what you can do on it.

    If it helps I unplugged the MAF and drove it to work and seemed to make it worse if anything I will ask santa for a hawkeye this year Haha
