    Double mounts

That makes a lot of sense. I know the previous owner used it hunting, camping etc. Also it has the same type of brackets welded to the rear bumper. A plausible answer for brackets would be some kind of home make rack system. Thanks for the help.

    Double mounts

It welded to windshield sash side. Maybe it was almost a good idea for a mirror at one time. Just had me nervous it was some kind of Frankenstein bulkhead refit

    Double mounts

Can any tell me or think of a reason my series 3 has both style of wind shield mounts. I never noticed till watched a video about the differences between a 2 and a 3. From what I can tell...I have a 3 bulkhead.

Here's the photo, look very similar to the one posted earlier so I'm assuming it the wiper motor. Again, thanks for the help

    Electrical part identity

I don't believe it's the coil, but maybe part of the electric fuel pump. But why be installed behind the inside of the dash. Looks OEM.

    Electrical part identity

Hello all, Recently I was doing some exploration around the vehicle ( not getting much done but enjoying her just the same). I got the idea to check out the bulkhead condition from inside, behind the dash. I found water or some liquid in the plastic trough in the dash so I figured a look was...

    Series 3 Unknown brand

Hi Glen, to be honest I'm really not sure who the member was that made the 12 year old hub repair post. As possessed as I was to find an answer other things just took priority. It was a 12 year old post though, that I do remember. I haven't decided how I want to make the repair, replace or go...

    Series 3 Unknown brand

Thanks Mystery. Just by chance I did some extensive site searching on site and found another member' post( 12 years ago)with almost the same issue I have. It answered my questions. Moving forward, tried to loosen the lock/ free hub center cap...it crushed and broke apart. Guess this will change...

    Series 3 Unknown brand

Your probably right. The video is a good.tutorial. I was more concerned about if I need parts or a rebuild kit of some sort. I've looked around and can't match anything to the picture for company info. Look a little like AVM but letter on the grip are different.

    Losing power

Thanks for the checklist. It's always easy to miss something. As for the snow, it's more of an annoyance than a problem

Thank you your help and knowledge. Actual repair might take a bit of time we're expecting a noreaster storm on the weekend

    Losing power

I'm all about the pictures and video, they really help a lot (as you probably figured out I'm not a mechanic). So, if the brake is binding( clicking) it might just cause enough hesitation in the overall running of the engine cause by carb. Issue making the engine to quit briefly.

    Losing power

Sorry for the double post. I can remember, years back exchanging a small carb filter about the size of a large thimble on Rochester carb. This must be the fuel filter your talking about. It does have a petrol smell. I believe it's a Webber replacement on there now, without looking. Just so I'm...

    Losing power

Yes it is a LHD with a 2.25 engine. That makes perfect sense as to where I heard the clicking sound. Next question is why would that cause the temporary cut out of the engine. And two, if the emergency brake was partially frozen would cause the draggy loss of power?
