    19" wheels

I was told whilst they will fit, the shims are to pack the centre out by like 1mm, otherwise the wheel will wobble and eventually work loose, these are rangie sport allys i'm talking about

    19" wheels

I am off roading next weekend and will be running on 19s with Goodyear muds on, so I'll let you know what they're like when I get them on, I know they have to have spiggot rings and different nuts fitted but other than that they just fit straight on apparently

    slight wobble at 50??

mine did the same, its got the 18" hurricane alloys on and the backs of the spokes are sortof hollow, they had filled with a lovely mixture of clay and inch diameter pea gravel, which set like concrete and somewhat unbalanced the wheel!

so long as my house doesnt blow away tonight in this hurricane type wind then I think me and dad are going, although the series threes in bits, the series one has no MOT until next week, and the p38s tyres are slicks so I am sorry to say we'll be attending in his subaru toy, so assuming I...

    P38's - Not all bad

NEVER EVER say how brilliant she is when she's within earshot, if she hears you singing her praises, that's it, she'll play silly buggers. Whenever she...

What have you done to your Landie today.

today I are mostly made some huge jackable tree sliding rock sliding side steps for the p38, and got the rear springs off the series three and found a small rustworm nest in the bottom of the series ones bulkhead. Good day and bad day but too hot to do any more

    P38 to Classic Chassis Swap?

I think/thought/might have read somewhere that the P38 chassis is a variant of the LSE chassis, its 108" wheelbase I think and very wide at the back but chops in narrow at the engine bay so it can turn slightly better than an oil tanker but not much! Not sure about a swap... Duno if this info...

lpg how far to your tank

my 4.0 P38 with a 70ltr donut in the wheel well does 240 miles on it, which I thought was quite good, £37-£40 gets me 240-250 miles... If I behave! Atleast theres no needle to watch move if my foot slips at some traffic lights!
