    Disco 3 on Top Gear

yeh i watched it, twice now it was on last night again. Its very impressive they may of moved away from the original idea of landrover but at least its still **** hot off road where i matters!! New to Landrover

for about 5k you will have more chance of getting a decent 200tdi, a 300 csw will probably set you back around 7/8k for a good m or n reg. The 200 is a bit noisier but not a great deal, sound proofing is easy and not to expensive, also the problem with the lt77 is the mainshaft wears due to no...

    New to Landrover

have to agree completly with the comments above, personally i would try and find a county or good conversion as these tend to be looked after slightly better. Alot of the hard back(van) versions have had a hard life so get as much information on its past life as possible, service history is...

    Defender 200tdi coolant leak

No this is not a fail, there is actually a measurment of the amount of fluid lost in a specified time which if the leak is bad the examiner will or should do, but unless it is dripping out it shouldn't matter, after all it is a landrover!! My powersteering pump is leaking quite badly but went...
  17. Graham Wilkinson

    Hows about this one then!!!!!

You wont see many of those covered in **** in an old quarry!!
  18. Graham Wilkinson

    Briercliffe

Good day out again, the wet weather made this even better with loads of mud and me getting stuck twice!!!!! and roy once (haha). I have to agree with Roy it is a little expensive at £30 a day but its good venue with plenty of different tracks to suit all vehicles even the posh motors!!!

    Defender 90 brakes...

i was speaking to one of the lads at work today, he said he has the exact problem you have which only started after he fitted some cheap pads, so it might be worth going for genuine ones
  20. Graham Wilkinson

    Defender 90 brakes...

Alright Roy Personally i have never had the problem with non genuine pads as you describe, usually its the disks that cause the main problem, Did they fit new disks? also i would of thought that on your landrover the front disks would be vented ones, if not they would be a good option to fit...
