I tried sticking my spare (265/70/16) on the bonnet and I thought it looked ****e and it got in the way. Love it on a defender and if my finances ever stretch to allow me one, thats where the spare would live. As it is, im thinking of keeping my roof rack on permenant and mounting the spare up...

Thanks for the boost but if it was just for off road, id have a go at bob'ing it but like i said, i need the space. I am nervous about doing the welding it needs but I really want to do it myself. Its the front inner wings, drivers footwell and im gonna fill in both rainroofs and alpine windows.
