Hi Pal i had this problem on my 90, the swivel oil seals had gone and also the swivel balls where pitted, so replaced the seals and cleaned up the swivels with a soft pad and used a special grease insted of gear oil to fill the hubs witch is availible from britpart, seems to have done the job...

The only other part that would cause this is the lever on the side of the injection pump, if you move this by hand and the engine still doesn't stop then the fault is inside the pump which will req a specialist repair Graham

This sounds to me as if the seal has been modified so maybe it is bigger than the original so needing a spacer ring on the crank, I work on trucks and this is what is happening at the with alot of the seals we use so could be a possibility?

The regulator is a softer metal usually than the motor teeth so fingers crossed its worn them on that rather than the motor if you can buy them separatly that is!!

Hi pal In the gearbox you should only use ATF (automatic transmission fluid), the transfer box is normal gear oil. With your swivels i would suggest using grease like you say, i did this with mine! You can buy it from Britool it comes in a tube which is the correct amount for one housng, its...
