Lift kit on 90 advice please

with off-set rims and standard arches you will get a lot of dirt and stones coming up past arches on to body work with small amounts of steering.

Lift kit on 90 advice please

For mainly road used vehicles I don't see point of putting on overly wide tyres, you will either loose turning circle or have to fit wider arches, also when snow comes a reasonable width of tyre works best unless you have very wide pattern but then you loose road ability.I will say again, only...

Lift kit on 90 advice please

Only my opinion, not a fan of lift kits unless your doing serious off roading. If you do go ahead you should do flexi hoses and possibly rad arms. Back to my thoughts on lift kits if you are using on road the handling is shocking after conversion consuption goes up and insurance can be a...

    Advise on EAS please

Could be dodgy sensor, worth checking all the plugs on sensors for corrosion. (green on terminals) also worth popping sensor arms off at rad arms and making sure they are not stiff to move. Could also be a drive pack problem often no faults stored if drive pack faulty.

If yours are steel you could look for alloys but i would not go too big.

Loss of power at 3k revs

Have you had it plugged in? Another possible is the fuel pressure sensor on fuel rail.

Do you have steel or alloy wheels? If they are steel try to find some alloys but if you have them allready i would keep them, the 15" are the best in the snow (in my opinion) and handle well. 16" are not too bad but I am not a fan of F1 with the 17" option tend to wander a bit and can be harsh...

    Bad idle problem

Cant remember seeing factory v8 manual but the td5 version has a clutch switch in line or cyl, this cuts the revs when clutch pressed.

    Discovery Fuel Filter warning

If terminals on loom plug are choroded (green) light comes on on dash. I presume because of resistance being high but result the same.

    Discovery Fuel Filter warning

If you are fitting new sensor make sure terminals in wiring plug are not choroded as the high resistance brings on water light.

    Discovery wont start.

Do elec windows ect work? there are fusable links in the wiring loom on o/s wing near to bulkhead (loom has clothy outer at links) have seen these chorode which can allow small drain components to work but power disappears under high load demand
