I hope you are sorted? I wouldn't have a clue of the colours but find the head light relay and wire the coil to a live ideally with a inline switch and fuse, might be a faulty head light relay? Are you in the AA? They might fix it for you?

I believe you can buy some that can mix just incase you haven't time to drain and flush

No problem if we all help each other it's easy. Just take your time plan it and it should be fine, have a spare stud / bolt with a tap etc just incase it all goes wrong
