Disco 2 Discovery 2 specialist in the West Midlands or South Midlands to help sort a leak?

Air con drains are two duckbill rubber valves one either side of the gearbox tunnel, they just need a squeeze and a poke too to dislodge any crud blocking them from draining,

This is the sunroof/ A Pillar drain on the sill of the D2. Often gets covered over with waxoil etc. needs cleaning out with a cable tie.

Disco 2 Discovery 2 specialist in the West Midlands or South Midlands to help sort a leak?

Air con drains is always the first port of call for this problem as a quick poke cost zilch in time and money!

Disco 2 front spring mounting brackets

Not something i have heard of being replaced , normally the chassis is foobarred by the the time you get to replacing front end items on a D2 chassis.

Disco 4 (LR4) Dreaded leaking sunroof issues

So the D4 keeps up the good old D2 traits then with no improvement there!

    Disco 2 Injector Harness TD5

Ridiculous, replace when needed. Genuine will easily give 5 years + service.

Is a landrover 90 station wagon a car or commercial vehicle?

Unfortunately when it comes to speeding it is how the vehicle is registered at the DVLA / on your V5. I got done for speeding at 61 mph in Wales on a dual carriage way automatic camera , when i appealed it I was told it was due to 'Class of vehicle' , when I argued that even if I was limited to...

    Flat Bed Disco 2 Project

Rather than clamp the 2 pieces to be joined tightly together you need to leave a small penetration gap between the two pieces to aid the flow of the weld.. This can be achieved by putting a small amount of folded wire between the pieces before clamping together. Once you set off with the weld...

    'The save or scrap dilemma'

Glad you have got it all sorted, every car needs maintenance so there was no point in replacing a car you do like. Personally if the garage is trusted as you say I would let them supply all the parts required as it keeps things much simpler all round especially if there are any problems with the...

Then you will love the Defender. From the list of parts above i would be confident it's a good one and you're not really taking a risk as it is one of the most popular vehicles on the planet. Stop faffing about and get it bought. ! (would still offer him 17k though)

    Views for my first Defender

This is the big question, personally I love them and have owned 5 but pulled away from them due to how often they get stolen coupled with the now silly values hence now running a D2 again. They are not everyone's cup of tea and if you find out you don't like then it could be a very short term...

It's immaterial, the value will always alter after you have bought it anyway. It may go up it may go down, there is no way of knowing without a crystal ball. The market is very strong at the moment and there is also always the possibility if you snooze you'll lose! Have you tried haggling with...

You are answering your own question. I agree it may be worth paying more for a vehicle you know has had the work done.
