the steering guard that i use to have on my classic is now on my discovery 300tdi. So i am pretty sure that they are all the same. it might need some persuading to fit tho

I have a 5dr seat in place for my drivers seat after mine collapsed. apart from being a different colour they are identical (but have seat covers so you don't notice) It doesn't go forward now but that just means that i have the perfect excuse not to have to get out and let passengers out

yes mine has a 2" lift, here is a picture of where it fouled on the front of the rear arch.

Yeap heres mine. had to do camel cut at the rear and the front just to be sure and a also a bit on the front of the rear arch in some woods with a hack saw after it caught on the tyre both sides! also had to adjust the steering stops but they still catch if your not careful might add some...

mine use to be a bit of a bastard to change, but a mate found out if you stop on a bit of a slope and let it roll back then try it you can change the transfer box alot easier

Yes I think so it was one of the last 300tdi and had some facelift stuff fitted

just a bit off the back called the camel trophy cut click here and a bit off the front sill to stop it rubbing on that. also i forgot to add he has a 2" suspension lift on it aswell. this tyre thread is also useful aswell

Mine did the same thing just before the mot. so it failed. i couldn't find any bolts to tighten but found a replacement for £25 and put that in. it was one out of a 5 door but it fits in alright but won't go forward. but i see that as a bonus as now i don't have to get out to let people out

I looked on the insa turbo website and it says their mud tyres are good for snow aswell. not sure about ice tho, but i am hoping it will snow so i can try them out

you should try the fuel pump tweek. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/richard.martin/discovery/fuelpump.zip i didn't bother doing all of them i just moved the diaphram 90 degrees clockwise and noticed a big improvement

I have read this is something to do with giving more traction to the rear as its permanent 4wd to help fuel economy. can't remember where i read it tho

thats a good idea, I was thinking of putting extended bump stops on anyways after a mate with 235 85 16 special tracks managed to stuff one right up in his arch on saturday and then his disco wouldn't go forward or back

Yeah mine passed an MOT without the cat on aswell its not a legal requirement on diesels. And i have a middle box replacement pipe and back box on its way from paddock for £41!

I fitted some last night and all i have done so far was cut a bit off the rear quarter. still need to adjust the steering stops but there seems to be plenty of arch clearance. its got a 2" lift. didn't have time to road test tho so it might rub
