Fitting air supsension would be a real pita... maybe just get a p38 (though that cd then be too wide for the garage)

Steering box leak on my 90

    P38A Heater

Maybe i'm forgetting, but i don't think you need the engine on to be able to do the basic testing with the nano... ignition for sure

    P38A Quick eas question.

Most likely...either use a stick to measure from hub cap to the top of the wheel arch (easier than remeasuring with a tape the whole time), blocks are the fool proof way and save lots of running around the car (in lieu of crawling under the car, of course). Although assuming you also have your...

    P38A 4.6 V8 won't pull, sluggish, otherwise runs fine.

i wd say cooler too...when I had my leak it wasn't until i'd cleaned it up all the ATF that I could then find the leak... The argument for removing the fan temporarily is that the ATF is not blown around, giving you a chance to locate the leak. But I think you will have to run the gearbox to...

Parts suppliers - its a minefield!!!

I find Island 4x4 is normally pretty good, and then a mix of paddocks, craddocks and lr direct. I'll shop around, but most often i'll end up back at Island

P38A EAS Fault finding threads or files.

Sounds as if the block refurb needs to be rechecked if the sytem worked fine with the 94 one. Sometime a dodgy sensor doesnt help as it can give duff info to the ECU. Using the nano is there an obvious discrepancy between bit count ( across an axle) and physical height? I was chasing a...

P38A Front Door handle where does this piece go

if you click on 22 in lrcat it's called plate retaining... i think it goes behind the door skin ie torx screw through the inner doorskin, then through the hole in part 22, then the outer skin, and then into the door handle

    P38A Hvac motor query.

Just watch that the Farnells ones may be 90 degrees out of phase from the originals, in which case you need to compensate by not aligning the dots on the gears. The "out of phase" ones seems to be more common than the ones we need. I got my pots from https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171859308690

P38A Valley gasket replacement - any RTV?

yes, but under where the rubber seals go there are notches (actually 4 total), which take a blob of RTV... but it's part of RAVE's refit procedure anyway, so as ever the advice is "follow RAVE"

    P38A 99 4.6 Thor with ABS&TC lights, no speedometer

I never saw the speedo stop working for one sensor, but then if all 4 went down maybe that would do it... or if the ABS ECU was not receiving power at all...does the brake pump work? MF3 ? F24/27? RL2/17? I assume the whole binnacle receives power? ie when you say that the speedo does not work...
