    If you had the money????

Well, If I had any amount of money, Id work part time, and buy a 101 (Ideally a IIA/IIB F/C) and use the rest of my time to convert it to a camper.

    Halfords 3 tonne Axle Stands

Nope, they aint, I bought some from the link, 3 ton per pair, seems to be quite common to rate them in pairs these days. Still enough for the landy. "Safe working load: 1500kg per stand / 3 tonne per pair"

    300 tdi vs td5

If you want to last everywhere at 70, get a disco. Neither the 300, nor the td5 fender is overly comfortable at 70 IMO, though the td5 is quieter than the 300. my 300 will do 70, relativly easily, and its not bad to drive when everything is in tip top shape, but get the slightest bit of wear in...

    Flat Paint?

If its that flat, you might need to get somthng a bit more course than T-Cut, the body shop my my work uses 3 grades of polishing compound if its really flat, T-cut is an "end user" compound and is very fine, so will take alot of work.

length of cable from battery to starter

oh, another reason for getting it made up, the "proper" part is £40+ I can upgrade the cable thickness, and still be cheaper than that :O

length of cable from battery to starter

I need to replace my main lead from battery to starter, was going to get some welding cable to replace it with. Mines past its best, the terminations are a little corroded, and its starting to give me a sluggish starter, and a less than optimal charging., in fact I needed to switch in the second...

    lazer led lights

Theres Lazer/Laser the brand of lighting stuffs for vehicles, seem to be mainly LED these days. Then theres Laser Headlights, as fitted by audi/bmw. The scope for eye damage is limited to the brightness, rather than the fact its based on laser technlogy, the phosperous converts the wavelength to...

    injector sealing washers

Done, spot on :) Studs were all in good nick tbh , I'd looked at them before hand to see if i needed new ones :) Think the perpetual leak from the rocker cover has kept them safe :D Annoying part is the flat ones I got in the first place cost the same as the proper ones, when I looked the...

    lazer led lights

No they are using a blue laser with a phospher unit to make the blue to White (same as white LEDs) Quite clever stuff, but addresses the drawback of LED, LED by nature is an allround light source, which then needs lenses to focus it, Lasers are the opposite, they are highly directional, so they...

Mountain Rescue Team , Crashed land rover

This one, yes I agree, the other I dont know the area it covered well enough, a snorkel could quite easily be a necessity in some areas.

    polybush kit

    injector sealing washers

bugger. well, you live and learn, loads of sellers selling them under the same P/N as the others, correct ones on their way, from a deisel man, not a fleabay seller. still running a hell of a lot better that it was, even with a compression leak and second hand injectors, the old ones were...
