I don't think anybody touched it. I'm wondering if they can misalign themselves? And I'm almost sure nobody ever took the wheel hub off on this one.

Agreed. Mine wouldn't work from the main switch assembly but would work from the rear door. First time I tried it. Second time I tried it, it wouldn't work from either but I'm really suspicious that it could be the motor.

Is it fairly easy to mount windows in the rear on a 3 door D1 that has the van sort of look? On the inside the panels look very easily removable and on the outside the edges of the would-be window are cracking. I haven't tried removing them, however. Has anyone done this?

I can live with using satnav from phone, but how do you listen to music? I assume the tape player is not easily interchangeable for something else because of its measurements and because you enter the eka code through it. I have a few tapes I listen to but if I can't find another car play I'll...

I don't if sarcastic or not. Honestly, first time I got in the car I didn't notice anything as i didn't know what it's supposed to look like, but after looking at it you can see the dremel marks on the plastic.

What do you use in your P38? We bought this one like this, the unit is some satnav from 2003, I imagine retrofitted. It measures 16.5x10cm and we want to replace it with some sort of carplay so we can use the satnav from phone. Either via USB or Bluetooth. Any recommendations?

Do you mean if it is overfilled it *will* go past the seals? I just changed the oil after replacing one of the axle seals that was splashing oil everywhere around the wheel arch, it looked very bad and the inner spring was missing, I had to fish it out from the halfshaft.

Yeah that's what I meant. It seems fine. I will try with a torque wrench and see exactly when it starts rotating.

Isn't the VCU test spinning the wheel? If not, I can't find anything on the web.
