you need to change the the switch and the connection ar it will just happen again.. it's a bad connection which heats up and melts the housing, which in turn causes more resistance and then more heat, and the cycle just keeps on. until it fails (which it has) or it set on fire!

disco TD5 1999 gs (AKA PAIN IN ARSE!!) coming out of work today i noticed a oil patch under the front N/S corner when i looked closer noticed the air filter box drain and the area around it covered in oil. any idea's what this could be?? or should i just get rid??

there are loads on ebay for around £10.00 :confused: :rolleyes: but try running your finger with a little pressure over the display, it sometimes remakes the cell contacts.. well worked on mine :D

rear load cover in blue to fit a disco 1 came with my disco 2 and don't fit..

used and in good condition air to coil spring convertion kit. don't think they've been on very long. previous owner had them fitted.. removed to refit air springs..
