So I just got this on Monday, Sale or Return from a good buddy down the road, who no longer owns Land Rovers. I built a Dell D630 with fresh Win7 pro, got it all working and have used it on my D2 to program Heated Front Screen into BCM and a few other tasks, jobs a good 'un ............. Kind...

Thanks :) It was doing this Vibe when I first drove it before I got it, I put it down to Engine Mounts. It had Full service with decent OEM Filters etc including the Centrifugal Filter, plus new Engine Mounts and remained the same, although the pattern mounts did improve things a fair bit...

That's the new Injector Harness in, Injector Bump Clearances adjusted (they weren't out), and noted all the Calibration Codes .... Cam Cover will go back on in the morning, I've glued the new Gasket and want it to be well stuck before putting it back on the Head, the big nuts are holding...

So yesterday I bagged a Lynx Legacy, built up a Dell D630 and Installed the S/W (see other thread) I got to have a little fiddle today :) My Windscreen has been replaced at some point recently with a Heated one. I recently added the Heated Screen Switch, but of course my BCM wasn't programmed...

Cancel the questions lol I've got it working and communicating with my D2, perfect. I am only seeing 2 Vehicles, Discovery 2 and RR Sport, but my buddy said it had L322 so likely I need to add the Activation code, haven't found out how, not really bothered as I don't have an L322 ;)...

OK today I went to buy what I thought was a Nanocom from a mate, turns out it was a Lynx, I think you guys would call it a Legacy ? He has let me take it on Sale or Return basis, research shows it should program BCM, which is what i need :) I didn't get laptop so I've a fresh install of W7 Pro...

Thanks, but see post above, ................ It turns out the machine is an older Lynx that runs on a Windows 7 laptop, which suits me as I have a bunch of Dells that I use for various other Dealer Level Diagnostic machines in my Workshop ;) I'm doing some research right now in between work ;)...

Thank You for confirming :) For others considering this ................... Bearmach got back to me just now, one single Unlock code (NCOM 13) will do both TD5 Engine and Body Systems, £62.50 inc VAT at todays date :) To buy brand new, current price today, with a 10% Discount is £378 inc VAT...

I have found a used Nanocom belonging to a local friend he has sold his Range Rover and will sell it to me :) Can I buy the unlock code for this for my Discovery 2 from Bearmach or where ?

Steering Wheels ............. Loosen the nut but leave it on there, grasp the Wheel, and rock it to and fro on the spline with one hand pushing down down as the other pulls up (both directions) with hands at 9 o'clock / 3 o'clock ................ Never had one fail to come off on any car...

It's not awful, and I am a fussy git ;) Yes I can feel that "typical of TD5 Disco 2 Auto" 2300 - 2600 vibe, but that isn't the issue. I could live with that ;) What I feel is there hot or cold, from idle all the way up to the rev limiter, it is better at higher revs. It is definitely Engine...
