Is yours lifted? mine has a 2 inch lift installed and am suspecting that this is because the grease will remain on the inside while the cv travels on the outside part and so grease not reaching the moving parts.

may be ac pipe if it was disconnected or removed.

Will do. I will re grease them 1st as I'v noticed that if I squezed the boot and take it for a short drive is I think there is some improvement so will try that 1st.

did you find the cause of the vibration? I have the exact same problem with mine after replacing both drive shafts with aftermarket ones. Before installing I noticed they were a bit stiff but tought it was because they were new and they would loosen with use as grease would fill the gaps but...

FINALLY SOLVED!!! Changed the front driver side driveshaft and noise gone. 1st run after installing drive shaft it sounded like the drive shaft was wobbling or not centered. That was a terrible feeling then on 2nd run everything gone. No noise. Smooth and better than before. Also replaced...

Nice piece of kit

Tire wear has been present since before the lift kit and I have also installed chamber bolts so angle is corrected.

What I have noticed also is tire wear on the outside of both front tires and back ones which I assume where changed and put there from the front end. But wear was present since I baught the car not just after the lift kit and have never heard these sounds before.

Had to postpone todays inspection so will be doing it next week. Both tie rods have been replaced together with track rod ends. Ball joints look good. Only thing un touched are shocks, cv joints and shafts together with inner cvs. So only lots of money worth of parts remains to be changed if...

That's exactly my taught but upon inspection they look good. today we're raising it on stands and track the sound. and seriously considering changing both as it might be that they wear in a certain pattern and when raised that pattern no longer does the job. hope to sort it out once and for all.

I moved the fuel line from above the chasis to the side so just 10mm or less and tied them with cable ties to keep them steady. Cutting the extra length of the cable ties. But will try the padding. As for the posts I will leave it on 2wd as it does it also in 2wd and raise only the front end...

Ok so removed IRD and opened. All bearings are fine including oil seals and teeth. Only damage I found are 2 shims .5mm in the diff inside the ird. replaced and movement is gone. Installed everything back in place, took it for a drive but noise still there. Any other ideas? I 'm thinking of...

Btw mine has 172800 miles on the clock so had quite a journey.
