Well, i tried the spray pattern, only on 2 injectors and it seemed ok. Now i've just tried it and nothing. Could someone run through how they check the spray pattern to make sure i'm not doing something completley idiotic?

All lines seem fine, no breaks and no blockages

I havent tried towing it as that is just not possible at the moment. I did look at the spray pattern but i'm going to have another check tomorrow

I can advance the pump as far as it'll go but it still wont start. I think its time to look at the timing chain to see if that is out.

What would you describe as a good rate for the fuel to be coming out on the injector pump? I've taken each injector pipe off in turn and the ones for injectors 1,2 and 4 all give a consistant squirt but its not a high pressure squirt, where as on the one for injector 3 in gives a squirt with...

There is fuel getting to the injectors as there is white smoking coming out the exhaust when its cranking. I've cracked the injectors as well to see the fuel coming out.

Right a little update. I redid the tappet clearance and it it now trying to start all the time instead of turning over for abit and then half hartedly trying to start. tried the injector pump in various different place but it still wont start. I did give it a squirt of easy start and it ran...

Unfortuanlly its stuck in the garden while the drive it being done and some idiot parked a mini digger in the way and didnt leave me the keys so i can't get another car into the garden to tow it! I just cannot see why it wont start!

Very almost went tonight while i was bleeding it. Very close to having it running now!

If they are just the studs that screw in, lock two nuts together on the top of the stud and undo the stud.

Set the tappet clearance ( i think ). Now waiting for battery to charge so i can attempt to start the thing for the millionth time.
