    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

I checked the bonnet switch and it makes breaks contact ok - I have found this morning the passenger offside rear window open 1/2" or so - probably enough to set it off. I've removed the sensor completely as there does not appear to be a way of getting system to ignore it. if it goes off now...

    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

Is that the same as an AS10 unit? My Nanocom only arrived new this week from Blackbox and I have rather assumed it would have bang up to date software on it too - Is it something I need to do?

    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

Mine is on that flexible bracket affair, but its making contact ok - I can see that on the Nanocom, albeit with this odd High Low business I still don't understand

    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

I've disconnected the sensor, but again on Nanocom its reporting something odd - in Inputs the Volumetric 1 keeps changing from zero to 1 randomly, even though sensor removed - is that just the alarm looking for a reading?

    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

Haha - Ok thanks I'll disconnect it and try that - albeit my spider is a bit of a party animal I think, saves it for the early hours rave. Still wondering about the bonnet switch though if anyone has any ideas re Nanocom readings

    NANOCOM & ALARM AS10

Hi - Trying to work out if my Nanocom can disable the volumetric function on the Alarm as it goes off randomly - I have found occasional web but even a fly can set it off. First, I have not found a setting to disable so do I have to physically just disconnect it? Along the way I noticed that...

Resolved Update: Plugged in a Nanocom and checked AS10 alarm module - In there the interior lights had been switched off - changed setting to "smart" and all interior lights working fine again with delay etc.

    Trouble with discovery td5

Might be worth checking the ECU plugs are dry? - Can't see the connection between the symptoms otherwise, especially if you say the lights are staying on all the time (if I understand correctly)

    Nanocom Results Interpretation Needed...

Just got my new Nanocom Evo for TD5 Defender - Nothing wrong with my td5 (or so I thought) but it is coming up with "1.7 air flow circuit (logged low)" So, I checked plug on MAF and getting 12 odd volts to one of the pins. Have not done any more with that but went then to Evo again and looked at...

    DEFENDER BUYING ADVICE

Haha - I got there in the end, and that is bloody fantastic - yes, that PDF, pinned to the lead in Defender page in either long form or as that PDF download under the heading of Defender Buying or Buyers Guide

    DEFENDER BUYING ADVICE

attachment 21? Not sure what that means - no, I mean at the top of the forum section when you open "Defender 90/110/130" ie it says the following at the moment: Save the defender petition! blue beasty, Nov 29, 2013 ... 7 8 9 How to - Land Rover 90 TD to Discovery 200TDi Engine Conversion...

    DEFENDER BUYING ADVICE

Great but I'm suggesting a comprehensive guide looking at things to look out for when buying a Defender, dealing with Engines, Steering, Bushes, Rust, transmission, ball joints/aframes etc - ie what to look for if you were going to buy one - and then, pin it up at the top of the Defender...

    DEFENDER BUYING ADVICE

Can someone pin up, as a fixed forum piece, this subject please (like the protected bit on paint & colours or TDI engine conversion pieces are protected for instance) If you do a search, and I have tried, its full of meaningless junk where people are scrabbling about trying to find it, too much...
