well ei, true but engine and box will never exceed SWL or strain working load anyway. basically if you have a hoist then get one that can lift at least 550 - 750KG

by law SWL is slightly under weight by a strained or breaking load that's what I learnt at college, in mechanic's and boat building apprenticeship so hope that helps, the breaking load is different depending on the SWL so you'll have to look up model type or if a decent and British make look...
