haha, those wellies are epic! I was going to go and do some of the lanes around hartington again this weekend with a freind.....Unfortunatly the Ninety is now laid up again with the lift pump off and in need of a new fuel pipe I think.....It should be back together by saturday and my CB cable...

    Fuel problems

Ok folks, I changed my sedimentor and fuel filter, I filled the filter up but didn't have enough spare diesel to fill the sedimentor. Now, the engine (disco 200tdi in a LR 90) runs! But, when I accelerate the engine revs and then splutters and occasionally cuts out a few seconds. Now by my...

Smoking was cool in '86 alright? hehehe I don't know about anyone else, but if I was coming from ashborune to get to the other side of bakewell, matlock would be out of the way slightly. I'm not sure what route James was thinking of convoying though?

Whoa! Be interesting to see how much they charge for changing the handbrake cable. Pagin, the dirt will probably hold your lights in place mate..... ;)

Cleaning on the Sunday after Saturday laning is important! Keeps everything in tip top shape and you can see whats broke ;) Unfortunately I haven't had chance to wash mine for a whole month, It was not fun running wires and bits of mud dropping on you all the time.

That sounds a bit frustrating! Mines fitted to the lightbar but so that it is protected a little from branches and such, hopefully that should make the difference! As for a convoy, might be an idea, il probably have to pick you up part way there.

Who needs power stearing?! Just don't stop with you wheels facing the wrong direction and keep your thumbs out of the way :D It sheared what off? The bracket or the actual Aerial? Sounds like it made a nice mess of it either way.

Looks good to me, if not a little bit tight! I think some good communication might be in order so we know what to expect. Shame about the CB James! where about did you have it mounted? Pagin, I thought D2's were a little bit more house trained than that! ;)

    Diff-lock light

Just when I thought I was going to have a day off from the spanners too! Cheers Zeaphod, I shall take a look later on and see what I can find. Hopefully just some funky wiring, like most of my problems ;)

    Diff-lock light

Where is this almighty switch? Mine has stopped working since the clutch change, didn't realise until recently when I came to use diflock.

If it's sign posted then that goes without question! Although if it's an unrestricted route, everyone is sensible and you give other users priority 6 shouldn't be a problem in my opinion, especially in winter! 3 groups of 4 should be good though, splits it up nicely actually. My heater...

Its awesome as long as your not at work, out in the cold all day! The Ninety and its awesome heater and various air scoops on the other hand are awesome in snow! hmmm, with the number we are taking 4 per group sounds good.....But if its like last time, I think six was a good number! As for...

2 Days before my MOT last year and most my bushes were cream crackered. I changed them for the dreaded Britpart. £45 and so far so good, touch wood.

At least my lights don't fall out! ;) I'm going to give mine a good service this time before we go, New fuel and oil filters, New sedimentor to go on and an oil change! :D I'm sure that was why it was so bad last time haha. On the other hand, maybe yours doesn't smoke enough!
