    Ex MOD 90 Ugly Duck(ling)

Ah! Those bulkhead repairs are spot on :D Mine is more or less the same....Im just looking at buying a welder and finding somewhere during the summer to take the windscreen off and crack on with it.

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

That's another good idea, if you havent got any threaded bar use a long bolt! Threaded bar might actually be a better idea and help pull it in square if you are struggling to support the arm.

    My Defender 90 rebuild

Oh, so it's actually not a bad job to make them fit then.... Shame about the vents though!!! It will be following this thread a bit more closely I think. I'm guessing that this dashboard is going to be something special! :D

    My Defender 90 rebuild

Looking fantastic so far, cant wait to see the finished article! What did you have to do to the bulkhead to get it to fit?

LZ11 as it happens (put yer pics in ere)

Unfortunately yes, during its time in the MOD and with the previous 7 owners, my 90 has that many layers of paint that a scratch on one layer just goes down to the next layer of paint. So far I've got NATO Green, Racing Green, UN Blue, Normal Blue, Black and finally, Yellow & Red on the Drivers...

    James Mac's Defender 90 Rebuild

Its a while since I did mine, I used the dreaded Britpart but they have worked out ok. I pressed them in with a 5Ton press and they went in nice and easy, a vice would certainly do the trick with a bit of force behind it, just make sure you get them going in straight.

    The gathering feedback fred

I personally enjoyed the event, unfortunately I could only get there Saturday morning. Nevertheless the laning was awesome and so was the company, although like people have been saying, would have been nice to have had a meet and great. I think this would stop people retreating to their camps a...

How easy it can be to roll a Defender

I'm guessing that its not a standard height 90 either? Just goes to show you've got to use your head and be on it all the time, not just follow the leaders exact path.

Haha, yea.....but you had fun so it's all good! I had all good intention to have it in gear, my transfer box just decided otherwise.... Hence the awesome name bond smoke effect :D I've just jet washed my stearing, much better now!!

Yea, but when the witness had to get rescued by James, I'm slightly bias when it comes to making statements ;) Great video James, I'm glad you missed the bit where I said how easy it would be :D

It only looked like a bit of a puddle, thought it would be easy to get through.... it was a bit of a surprise when I sank into it and water started coming into the cab!

LZ11 as it happens (put yer pics in ere)

Well, we say drove through it.... I hit it in low second and stopped more or less dead! Took James a few attempts to pull me out. You should've seen the clay that came out of my stearing arrangement :D Awesome day out for sure!
