    Syria

Err, we aren't. Germany is taking 10'000, Sweden is taking about 3000, Denmark are taking around 1600 and Belgium around 1500. Makes the UK's 500 look a bit paltry.

    Broken gearbox.

Wish it was that simple, unfortunately it doesn't seem that way, grub screw all done up ok, it seems as though the selector forks are jammed solid. So it seems a strip down and rebuild is required. In the meantime I have another box to go in while I rebuild the broken one.

    Broken gearbox.

Engine and everything else is fine, drives perfectly in reverse, just that reverse isn't where it is supposed to be. Have sourced a box for £150, so will be fitting it over the weekend instead of fishing.:(

    Broken gearbox.

My Landy is poorly :(. Strongly suspect gearbox is Fubar. Tried to drive it this morning, and found I had no reverse gear. Shifted into neutral, released clutch, and Landy shoots backwards . Neutral is now reverse, no neutral at all, and when selecting forward gears, gears feel like they...

Do all your series let water in through doors?

In 60 years Land Rover never made a waterproof Defender or Series. The best way I found to solve the problem of flooded footwells was to remove the carpets and soundproofing, paint the inside of the footwell with exterior gloss, and drill a couple of hole in the floor to let the water out quicker.

How to get greece into swivel housing

If your seals are shot than change them. If oil can get out, water can get in, and your swivels will soon be FUBAR.

How to get greece into swivel housing

Hope you have big swivels, because Greece is quite a large country, and is a Greece gun for shooting Greeks? :D Anyway, as BB says, one shot is the Land Rover approved stuff, or EP 90. Bull Bar ID

It's from a Jap 4x4. Looking at those mounting brackets, I am thinking Shogun/Pajero or L200.

    Can anyone help please?

I have a very good condition D1 bumper complete with headlight washers, end caps and plastic chin/spoiler. Would be perfectly happy to swap for a winch bumper as long as it is reasonable.

Discovery 1 front wheel arch repairs

Probably anyone who has ever had a Discovery 1 has done this before, usually at the same time they do the rear arches and the boot floor. :D

Discovery 1 front wheel arch repairs

If you want someone to do the welding for you, it might help if you tell us where you are.

    Sluggish disco.........not any more!

Nice post, but not really relevant to the OP's question as he has a 12J engine which has a totally different pump, and the problem is excess smoke rather than poor performance.

Is it Legal to Carbon Fibre a Landie?!

Yes, doing this is perfectly legal, you can get GRP body panels for most Land Rover vehicles. What advantages you would get would be doubtful. The GRP panels are not much lighter than the Aluminium ones but will cost a lot more. An SVA will not be needed as the body on a body-on-chassis vehicle...

    Whats it worth

What age & mileage? 3 door or 5 door? There is almost no chance of getting back what you have spent on that list unless you got it all very cheaply. For an early 3 door, you will probably be looking at around £800, for a later 5 door you may get as much as £1200 if you are lucky.

White station wagon wanted for wedding

I have a white one, but as it is 26 years old and used everyday, it is far from mint. Although as the wedding is in December, I may have repainted it by then.
