It has to do with the fact that most +2in lifts are done using a stiffer spring with the same length as the standard that ends up keeping the car 2in higher. For this application a shock with the standard lengths is ok (eg bilstein, ome, tf119). If you raise the rear using 2in spacers and SLS...

Not so sure these will work with SLS at the back and +2". Do you know their open/close lenght?

My problem is that I would like to get a 2in lift and retain SLS. Bilstein doesn't offer a shock that would work with this setup. The TF Pro Sport +2" seems to be my best option at the moment.

So I guess you have a lift? It's a shame that they only offer these with +3" for the D2

In that case you had exhaust gas leaking from the interface of the manifold to the engine. I had a leak but it was fixed a while ago without skimming.

Hm...now that you mentioned it probably low. Maybe 450-500. New genuine MAF fitted few weeks ago.

Ambient pressure always at 99kpa at sea level and 90kpa or lower at the mountains. It's a 2001 10p without EGR

Had the exact issue a day ago. The contact was oily and I had to shake the cable to make contact and start the car. Haven't cleaned it yet but I should get to it asap.

UPDATE So I removed the Smartbox, fitted a new modulator (PIERBURG), fitted a new original MAF, fitted new original injector loom and everything looks to work fine now. The only thing I'm not 100% sure is if I'm getting the maximum from my td5. I did see instantaneously 228 kpa a few times but...

How can shocks affect ride height? I was under the impression ride height is only controlled by springs. Shocks only control damping, not support weight.

I haven't received it yet but based on the price and this: "Stock is direct from Land Rover" I wouldn't worry that is not the genuine/right one.

Do you have air at the back? Which model are your current shocks?
