What did you do with your Range Rover today

This is on the sunroof blind that you pull forwards across - not the 3 acres of sag between it and the tailgate - which also needs doing ( eventually).

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Took the old crate through a car wash (top of the range Prowax jobby, only the best) just to watch the carpets stay nice and dry:) Only to look up at the sunroof and discover the headlinings falling off it - best tackle that before it gets worse - looks like it's just glued on - anybody had a go...

Can you find out more info about an engine?

Ah, gone are the days of when all you needed was a garden hose, 12v supply, a funnel and hose connected to the carb, and two wood blocks to prop the lump up with on the workshop floor.............

    P38A High beam issue

Hi, Cornish, I live in Creekmoor and have a spare fuse box in very good condition if its any help. I'll happily lend it to you if it will help with your diag work. Meself, I think your BeCM has gone on the fritz - mine did and my RR is the same age and model and it was bone dry inside.

    P38 Vogue For ........

MOT due 21/10/2015 - showing 116,526 miles one year earlier - tax ran out on 31/3/2015.

    Missing NANACOM

Exchange pistons - whatever, I mean they exchange bulbs and wiper blades - so yeah, I guess. Cool.

    P38 Vogue For ........

Go and have a look t it - but personally I don't like to see cars scrapped that can be sensibly returned to the road. Anyway, pictures please, Doo.:)

    P38A Towing with a diesel

I towed a 2 tonne twin axled caravan to Greece with a P38 diesel manual, through the alps and all. Progress would be best described as steady, 55 on the autoroutes and didn't struggle too much on the (numerous) inclines, no overheating issues either, completely trouble free trip. Tbh it probably...

    P38A Spurious Failure Warnings

I used all car electrics - guy called Lynton and he's based in Haywards Heath - post it over to him and he turns them around in 24/48 hours and sends them back nextday service. His phone number is 07976 159583. He certainly seems to know his stuff - google him and see his website. Can't say...

    P38A Spurious Failure Warnings

Of course, you do realise that ptsd stands for post traumatic spending disorder, don't you?

    P38A Spurious Failure Warnings

Having just entered therapy sessions for my recent BeCM induced ptsd (which are going well, incidentally), I think the culprit could well be the +ve feed to the very same or the unit itself. Luckily there are wonderful people who can initially test and then repair if necessary. Vehicle wiring...

    P38A Cleanest one out there???

No interior shots - which I find very strange - and a massive turn off.

    P38 Dashboard Disaster

Waitings the word......she's just rung to say she's on her way but to make up for it, it's fishnets tonite, yay........

What did you do with your Range Rover today

The rocker cover gaskets now don't leak, the interior is nice and dry, the battery doesn't keep going flat and the aerial is now connected back to the rf receiver meaning I don't have to get up close and personal with the fob anymore and no more messages about brake fluid level - so now I have a...

    flooded p38

If it was sea water it would definitely be Goodnight Vienna. Dear OP, your P38 will never forgive you for this and will remind you of the error of your ways in a fashion that you couldn't possibly imagine.......... For a very long time.

    P38 heater matrix

When I changed my steering box (don't ask) I had to remove the wheel arch liner and I seem to remember, with the road wheel removed, that I had a pretty good view of the side of the engine, manifold etc. Of course it helped that the steering shaft wasn't there but even if it was it's got to be...

    3 DOOR RANGE ROVER 1991

Greek road tax on a V8 will be a definite consideration - they don't like big engines. I had to pay an arm and a leg for my P38 diesel when I lived there.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

First of all, undistilled admiration to DOO for managing to consistently supply photos of his RR when it's not raining - quite remarkable for Scotland, I'm led to believe.;) Anyhooo, liberated my BeCM this afternoon - my cars lengthy sojourn at the local indies (a month) got nowhere with brake...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Apart from the postage stamp sized holes in the load area, it was quite sound - I took a torch with me and rolled around underneath the thing because Discos are known for the ferrous oxide outbreaks.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

As my Range is still at the menders........ Anyway have decided to think seriously about getting a, er, um, Disco V8 manual monofuel no lpg. Don't care much how old it is but it must be sound structually and mechanically, well the chunkier bits anyway. Not bothered about scratches or minor...
