over here it's illegal to supply or fit aftermarket hid headlamp kits as they arn't type approved and can't get type approval. mot are clamping down on this one and 2 of the mates have had to rip em out and go back to standard bulbs. ripped from the dot website Aftermarket HID (Xenon)...

wheres the comparison with a butchers, you don't have to buy an optima or any of the other expensive brands. just go into a motor factors, tell em what car you have, they will tell you what it should have fitted and supply it to you. the battery is rated for the car but your not paying through...

most batteries come with a 2 or 3 yr warranty so i just go for the cheapest from the local motor factors. if i get more than 3 yrs it's a bonus.

whoever is gonna reskim your used head should be able to pressure test the suspect head, or most garages will know someone;)

is the cb 12v or 24v then? if it's 24v then it won't work.
