the towbars part of the mot now so it may pay you to chat to a tester and get their opinion. there will be some type approval bollox so you have to fit an overpriced crock o ****e:rolleyes:
if theres no noise and no overheating then whats the problem:confused:
if theres noise and overheating then worry, if theres a leak on it then worry.
if you are paying £20 for a waterpump make sure it doesn't say britpart on it or the box:rolleyes:
take the glowplugs out, put a blanket over the engine where the glowplugs will be and spin the engine. it will clear the hydraulic lock then you can worry about whats really wrong.:D
unplug the motor and put the fuse in, if it doesn't blow it's the motor. or unplug the motor and use a multimeter to check the resistance at the plug, if it just shows 1 it's dead.
if it still blows a fuse with the motor off it's a loom fault or a switch fault.
only problem m8 is it's not just the seals that wear, the metal bits wear as well which you won't replace and you end up with the same problem a few months down the line;)
it's not a dumb question m8, they are interchangable. mine came with the hardtops and i just bought a soft top when one came up on e bay (cheaper postage that way, a hard top is harder to get through the letterbox)
daarn saaarff somewhere, at least they don't come up here selling the **** they bolt new stuff on. they just get rid of all the scrappers from up here:D
