    remake your towing socket by soldering the wires instead of scotchlocks. they are a **** bodge and will cause you a world of problems every time you get a fault in the electrics. especially with your towing light coming on as well;)

    you could always check the fuel sedimentor on the chassis in front of the fuel tank, they get full of crap and block the fuel going to the filter.

    if your bleeding a jack just undo the release half a turn and pump it, that will clear any air out of the valves.filling up; fill up to the bottom of the bung with the jack upright, to test a jack, jack until you car is just clearing the floor and leave it there for 5 minutes. iuf it don't drop...
