To find the reason for poor fuel economy, look at your gearstick. If it says something like PRND - this is a contributor. You need to find 1 that says 123456R. Mine says PRND and its currently hovering in the low 11's average. When its warmer, it hovers in the 10's. Our 4.5 ton vans at work...

I'm a bit confused here cos the immobilisation of the starter is an easy fix - just put a permanent earth on the relay. However, its no good spinning the engine if there's no fuel being injected, that's the difficult bit to get around.

Don't really have many of that type of vehicle over here. There's a few Suzuki Carries, other than that, its twincab Utes.

When you say 'little van', do you mean a Commercial? ;)

Its the drive by councils to make parking spaces only suitable for tiny little electric city cars. Proper cars have to double stack in the spaces.
