New fault found - fickle wife

Mine loves the Td5, how the clutch is heavy and lack of feel on the throttle (all helped with her learning to drive) We tried smaller cars various 106s, Rover 200's, 306 even my MR2 but it comes back that she prefers the Td5 even got me to the stage where I agreed to buy her a P38 if she, I...

    Land Rover 110 V8

I would say it depends more on the how easy it is to get LPG and the size of the tanks. Is it EFI and what LPG system is on it. I have a multi point OMVL system on my 4l V8 Disco, there is a slight drop in power and MPG when on LPG but nothing that worries me. Mine averages 14-17MPG on LPG...

    Know your disco !!'

Am glad am not the only one that has had this, even after telling the desk clerk that there were not locking wheel nuts. I had to call the AA out when the wheel almost fell off my Range Rover, I had a good wheel, I had a wheel brace, but no sodding jack, 3 hours at the side of the road...

Road Wheels as 2nd set, with AT? How big do i go?

275/40's my grip better but they don't handle better, a degree of flex in the side wall is better. My Td5 Standard 255-55-18 Currently 275-40-20 The ride is really hard and wanders with such wide tyres its something you get used to. Pushed hard in to corners and the 275 will hold on...

    Why do you have a V8 ?

Price wise with LPG makes it tolerable, but they hate getting wet which is a royal pain in the arse.

    mercedes vito

I had the early Vito MK1 110CDI, boy it would go but it was rotten as a peach. Later models were much better a friend of mine has a 2006 111, steering isn't as nice as mine was but it was so much better body work wise. If I needed a van again I would have a Vito in a flash but I would have...

few pics of my discovery 300tdi

If its road spec don't bother with AT's. I run 20" Stormer alloys on my D2 with road based tyres on, so much better on road performance than AT's. I run AT's on my 300 for road tyres but then off road tyres but I keep thinking about running road tyres on my alloys as I have 750-16s for off...
