    Its normal for radio illumination to dim at night else it's too bright. Easiest option here is don't use sidelights until its a bit darker 💡

    55 reg is sept 05-mar 06 I believe. Drive shaft or prop shaft? There was a recall/upgrade to the front prop

    You'll need the rear prop as its a different length, I dont remember about the other bits as it was 15 years ago I did the swap (the other way tho) and I had a complete disco for parts. The speedo drive was also a different size square and handbrake cable was slightly different too I think

    Could also be condensation travelling from the door via the wiring rubber I guess? I think its impossible to stop the rust on these, just delay it as much as possible

    When I had my 5 series I put an inch of heat shrink over the pipe and let the heat from the engine shrink it on. I did buy the hose from a local hydraulic place, hoping it would be of reasonable quality and it did last at least until I sold it a year or so later

    My opinion is to make sure you get a fan cooled one (often badged turbo) I have 2 machine mart migs and the duty cycle on the passively cooled one is terrible, even on moderate settings.

    Agree air seems most likely as she fired straight away after. Worth checking spill pipes even if you did them recently (which I think you did?) I think you can rule out glowplugs as she started, with no glowplugs it won't start at all easily from cold

    I dont know about the mounts for a 300, but a 200 would be pretty wobbly I'd think without the gearbox holding it
