Have you tried with jump leads on? If the battery is dropping voltage when cranking then the injectors will not fire. Bump start is also worth trying if you have the space as I believe the starter motor can give a problem with some kind of electrical interference

Id probably put a new mount on rather than patch it, its not a big deal to support the body using a wooden wedge or two, you dont have to lift it clear or anything

Its a different tow bar to mine, I have the larger braces but they attach the same place. I definately didnt remove them

87 will be alloy floor rivetted in

No need to remove any of the towbar if dropping it, although working outside floor out would be easier

Like smithy says, jack it up and see what wants to turn and what doesnt, but recovery seems the sensible option to get it home

If it was pulling against the steering wheel then its likely a diff problem

Check the other end of the battery cable on the starter motor. I'd suspect the solenoid next
