Just done my injector washes twice and finaly wokring well.

It was removed onthe latest model from 2002 to 2004 it was no installed. It is used to see if there is any water in the deisel only really needeed if you was somewhere like affrica with poor quality fuel in the uk and eu it all has to meet strict standards.

it will be the air bleed valve in the fuel filter hosing, its inside the front left pipe if you was sitting at the back wheel. Costs about £11 from land rover. Easy change 15 mins top just need a 19mm spanner and something to catch deisel in.

Charles Thanks, that hit the nail on the head 100% perfect advice. Think this should be made a static for how to do the injector washers and rings, this advice was spot on and thanks to the deep clean recommended it worked. Just done 100 mile run and all looking good.

Guys Disconnected by battery today to sort a few thing, and when i started all back up thing like front heated screen and fogs did not work, pluged in nanocom and ecu config looked like a default setup even had my td5 as a petrol auto!!! Any ideas why it owuld do that.

Have you had the injectors tested off the landy? Also gave they been correctly coded to the ecu and in the correct locations?

have you replaced the fpr?

not checked those so are there 4 orings on the four feeds from the pump? If so will do those as well.

Pump was quiet again beogre i broke down, i think that one of the new washes may have been bent slightly when it went back in, so going to repalce that again. Had new FPR in Jan and down all the seals on the fuel filter housing and the 2 internal valves.

SO whats the best brew and how do you do it sounds interesting.

Yes tested injectors via nanocom and all read ok beofre i started this whole oring and washer replacement project. Back in the same ordered and checked codes against ecu. As said ran fine for about 20 miles. I did the full purge both the blip 5 times one wiated for ages until ligfht stopped...
