    99 degrees too high?

ah you need to sort the earth out first then. i like to have a separate earth strap between the chassis and engine/gearbox. i don't like the clamps. whip your dash off and stick a wire from your bat neg directly to the temp guage earth and see if that helps. if so go and redo the dash earth...

    Painting chassis

no i mean spray the bilthamber stuff over the exterior galv. it'll look like a norm manky chassis with mud stuck on it soon enough :)

    A little wiring assistance required

the glass fuse holders are complete ****s.. i'd brass brush them clean, and they'd still flicker on and off when i hit a bump. i got sick and switched em for blades on my 86. you really could do with a cheap multimeter, but i'd deffo start with the fuses. check power is going through them

why are you doing this anyway?

    Painting chassis

think i'd touch up any bits with galv , then just bilthamber/dinitrol or that new sponsors stuff the chassis. no need to twash and paint it that way.

    Recovery points

the bump looks chunky enough to maybe have recovery points welded/fitted to it... but this is out of my knowledge..more experienced will know where to fit them to make it cope.

    Recovery points

they are not recovery points, they are tie downs.. don't recover via them unless you want to die go google jate rings and fit them instead :)

    Temperature a bit high?

that's just stopping the rad from cooling it down.. not really needed over here. if i were you i'd just go and buy/fit an oem 200tdi 88C thermostat. It's cheap enough and rules out yours opening early. ERR2803

    lt77 and 2.5na to r380 and 300tdi conversion

there are some diagrams on the inet knocking about.. or offer it up and have a play :) probably best getting a full donor vehicle btw. actually, (it's been a while so i'm a bit ropey) you'll be wanting to use the 300 power steering setup and iirc they are metric fittings and won't fit a 3 bolt...

    Workshop For Hire - Southwest

Personally, for a diyer on here I'd say it's way too much. I suspect your market is people without garages/garages big enough to house the landy. we'll have all our own tools. The basic thing i'd need is a dry, weather proof space i can use when it's blowing a hooly. electricity is a bonus...

    99 degrees too high?

if you are concerned that it is an earth issue, go and pull the dash and stick a wire from the bat to the earth on the gauge
