    Odds 'n Ends of Spares

yeah, I lived by the horseshoe for a year or so ;) I always remember getting a pint and having it served by a woman in a white glove who turned the glass three times in order to get the glass etching lined up nice area. it was also nice to go over the road and see the llamas.. but I never...

    Lack of go

tweaking your pump like that when everything isn't right isn't the smartest. are you pushing out a load of smoke? does it pull as normal lower end? hard to tell without a boost gauge, but is the wastegate was stuck open then you'd run with no boost all the time. also check the lil pipe to the...

    Recovery points

can anyone who's clued up confirm that these ubolts aren't dangerous? cos they feel dangerous. also i think you want em on the reenforced bit, not a 2mm bumper with no crush tubes.

    99 degrees too high?

you tried that? all i'd say it, hey.. maybe it did get colder!.. what did it drop too? the fan is connected via the belt and it was cold.. so it could drop fairly sharpish before your stat closes. drive around a bit more and if it does it again, get the ir gun back.

    99 degrees too high?

yeah i was going to do that next mr impatient :D iirc it's yellow/brown for the lamp/field coil exciter wire. it goes on d+. the only other place the spade fits is on W (rev) iirc but if your lamp goes off when the engine starts and on when engine off, then it's probably fine. go stick your...

    99 degrees too high?

do the gauge earth to bat neg as well, but it sounds pretty good. worthwhile voltage drop test as well as resistance won't show everything

    99 degrees too high?

ah, it'll make things a lot easier :) also look at volt drop; which will come in useful didn't someone make a guide on here covering this? here we go, have a read https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/cowasakis-electrical-tutorial-part-2.285354/

    99 degrees too high?

yeah m10 will be fine. get your multi and stick it on resistance, then start testing all your earth points/alt/engine etc to your bat neg
  17. trax

    99 degrees too high?

yup, to the right of the brake servo it is, but the connectors/wire behind the dash to that earth point might be corroded/broke where are you btw? anywhere close to me / north east?

    Charging issue

sounds like something isn't wired up correctly/shorting. if you don't get a flat battery then it's probably only doing it with the engine/ign on why did you get a new battery? what does the battery read when the engine and everything is off? if you have checked the cables again and everything...
