    Windscreen Help

Thanks! I've heard of that method several times, even seen it on the telly-box-thing, but I still don't get it. Must research more. :D

TD5 90 defender fuel pump noise

My fuel pump is sounding like I'm sitting in the dentists waiting room - without the screaming of course. Ie like a dentists drill. I'd love to see some pics of what you did to fix yours, and a link to the bits you bought. Thanks!

    Flip forward front middle seat

Just did that on mine today, bought the cubby box at Peterboro yesterday. £135 for a lockable one. Getting the middle seat off was a bit of a PITA though, even after I found the torx bolts at the back of the seat. :D

How much dinitrol for inside the chassis & bulkhead?

Thanks for all this information, Gents. As I've just got my 90, I'm hoping to rust treat it and nip (slow down) any further rot in the bud. At the moment I'm thinking the large Dinitrol kit from Rejel. I'm also thinking of POR15 Stop Rust Kit in Black (Small size) for touching up any part that's...

    Bank Holiday Defender Buyer's Blues

Thanks! Yeah, I think of it as a very good starting point. I have tons of ideas for it. Went to the LRO show today in it. Bought a tray that goes around the gear sticks and a cubby box. So much to do! So little time and money.

    Bank Holiday Defender Buyer's Blues

Out of the blue, there was a blue one. Nearby, good ad, good spiel, honest description, good photos. All seemed to align up. I even managed to go see it. Showed up, had a poke around, chassis seem solid, albeit with a tiny bit of surface rust - I can fix that. Very little rust at the underside...

    Bank Holiday Defender Buyer's Blues

Very good points! I know it deep down that taking on a car that's not running perfectly is a gamble. So, I haven't. :D

    Bank Holiday Defender Buyer's Blues

The saga continues. :D On Saturday I went to see two subjects . One was a cheap-ish 110 CSW. Turned up at the dealer and once I finally got to talk to someone (after a good crawl underneath) I was told by the manager that I shouldn't just turn up and that I should book an appointment...
