You get a kit containing 2 coil springs, 2 base plates for the springs to sit on top off and 2 rubbers for the top of the springs. The kit will come with all the bolts you need ( 4 in total ). About an hour fits them. Ring Paddocks they have the kits in stock.

It's just a finishing trim. Don't think it has a name, if you just discribe it as you have done here you should have no trouble.

I would suggest checking the water pump. Sound to me like it's on it's was out.

Long springs go to the front the shorter springs are to the rear.
