    Out of interest. . . Are you a biker, or do you sail or fly? Weather station / transmitters transmit on the same frequency as the rangey remote, think its about 433MHz. Had the same problem, but i believe LR have a replacement part. . . Blue skies

    Had the same problem reciently, checked all the glow plugs and they were 5~10 Ohms down from the nominal value (alas, can't remember straight off). Replaced them all and now she starts first time. . . Usually. The bad news: the alloy manifold above the plugs and injectors had to be removed...

    Eye'up Stu, sound like your sensors (oil and water) are goosed, I know its not supposed to happen but i've had failures that went the same way, both are supposed to be normaly open - so on failure / wire brake / loss of power / oil / water, etc you get a warning to / from the ecu. best...
