    I'm back!

Not too sure about the lift, it's a full Terrafirma heavy duty setup, think it's somewhere between 2 and 5" haha!

    I'm back!

Hey all, not been active for a while as I've just moved to New Zealand from Fife in Scotland, and unfortunately had to sell my Defender td5 due to import restrictions! However, I have just bought a slightly newer one with lower miles! Also, it has a couple of subtle modifications...

Turbo problems in 3 brand new defenders

I was working in the RAF at Leuchars in Fife when in 2010 we received 2 59 plate 110's. In the military we are "meant" to do daily and weekly checks on all vehicles, but after about 2 months I carried out the first weekly checks only to discover the sumps were completely dry, not a spot of oil...

Best way to fill these holes???

Plenty of ideas there, cheers! Intentions for the back, for the time being anyway, is just to leave it as is. The seats are 4 x individual inwards facing, with waterproof covers.

Best way to fill these holes???

I have just removed the rear seats from the load space of my Defender as I never use them (so they'll be for sale soon) but I've obviously been left with lots of holes in the aluminium wheel arch, what will be the best way to fill/blank them? Many Thanks!

How to deal with this rust?

I'm giving my defender a bit of a tidy up, and have just found this rust on the rear right door. My question is can I just jenolite/kurust then fill it? Or is it worth getting it welded? If so, can it be welded in situ without removing the glass? Cheers.

    90 2.5 turbo oil change

Sorry if I may be asking a silly question, but did you give the oil time to settle before checking the dipstick?

    Winch Security

I've peened the bolts securing the winch to the bumber on mine, very simple to do, but makes it much harder to steal, unless they turn up with a drill!

    Hello everybody!

Thought it was mine - I'll definitely be waxoyling it beforehand, but maybe giving it a good coat of oil too will be a good idea, will just spraying it all over with wd40 have the same effect? Difflock66 - yes, same job thankfully, it's all I've ever known!

    Hello everybody!

Ha ha, thought about it, but it's just going in a shipping container.

    Hello everybody!

Hi everybody, I'm Mark, been in the RAF for the past 16 years, but recently been made redundant. However, just found out I've been accepted into the New Zealand Air Force, so I'll be heading out there in Jan. As I've spent so long in the military I'm used to Landys, so when I wrote my Evo off...

    Door card weather seals

I have removed the door cards from my 02 plate defender 110 to do some patch repairs and sort out the central locking. The weather seal (plastic sheet held on with gumgum) on the inside of each door was torn and fell to pieces as I removed it. Question is, do I need to replace them? Cheers guys!
