    LRO Magazine and P38

Hi I read this too and have been following this since they bought it. I thought that they just got unlucky on the deal, lots to fix and some things beyond their tools/skill?!??! Yes, buying one is a risk but if you are prepared to put in the time and have the tools/learn the skills/have...

Air Con - 1st post be gentle

Hi Okay, more info on the heating/cooling situation, and still have the dreaded book symbol :). In these cooler times I am getting both cold and warm air once the car warms up. I still cannot move it from the vents/windscreen position and still have no air con. Cold air only occurs on LO...

    Air Suspension

Hi More importantly, does the height indicator do anything, ie is it changing from access height to normal or motorway height? If not then it is just the suspension levelling itself out after going into a kind of stasis after parking, stopping for a period of time. As RED said below it is...

Anybody Know any solutions to help prevent over heating on P38 2.5?

Hi From my limited knowledge, the radiators were quite small on the cars and due to their age are likely to be in bad condition, rotting away etc. Second problem could be an issue with the viscous fan. That is the end of my knowledge, but hope it helps. Cheers Adam

lazy locking, is it a problem?

Hi I think you need to release and press again to "superlock" as this does not engage off the first press. Cheers Adam

Thanks for that both of you but I am "managing" to get by with the lubicant. Will try those in time.... Now back to the air con.......

Air Con - 1st post be gentle

OK Moving onto the air con now, i think I have found the air con low pressure cap and opened it up but the inside of the cap seems sealed shut with a ball bearing type thing. Cannot get a screwdriver in there and it is only a couple of millimetres deep. Secondly, where is the compressor...

    2.5DT M Reg Problems?

Wow, can of worms!!! Air Suspension especially Valve Block is expensive to fix. BeCM (Load of electronics controlling security etc) can fail, heating and air con can cause grief as control motors are buried under the dash so 12 hours labour to fit a £60 part, not fun. Look at radiator...

    BECEM problem?

Hi all I now get the RH side bulb problem but checked all the lights and they all work fine. Comes on as soon as the key goes in. Could it be the sensor or is it likely the BECM? IF this is a problem with the BECM is the box fixable or does it require a new one? Cheers Adam...

Hi Odd one this but got the owners manual with the car and when looking for information on towing and the trip computer thses sections were both missing! I have the workshop manual but it doesn't cover this stuff. Anyone got any ideas where I would source a spare manual, but all i really...

    I'm picking up bad vibrations

Not at home so cannot consult the workshop manual, so how do I go about doing that? And if the damper was damaged why would the juddering go away after time? I was thinking more oil flow or similar.

    I'm picking up bad vibrations

Again is this relevant to my problem with speed and juddering going away after a while.

    I'm picking up bad vibrations

Hi As anyone who has read my posts before knows I am not the most hands on of RR owners and I have a vibration problem when first getting up to speeds of say 65 until doing that speed for 10 minutes or so and it goes away only to return at 70 and so on and so forth. I have no idea about the...

    Arnott EAS Parts

Arnott based in the States and I don't think they even offer it over there. Any one with a Testbook, Faultmate etc could reset the EAS settings, at least I think so. Get a good independant with all the setup and get them to do it unless you have the kit yourself. Cheers Adam

    Indepent Dealers and Ratings Board

Hi I reckon that as there is only one vote on each dealer that would not be too bad and the dealer could always reply by voting once and replying to the post. Cheers Adam
