    spare wheel mount for boost

Cheers gents. Thing is, which I didn't mention for fear of appearing vain, is that the steel is tatty and the boost looks ace!

    spare wheel mount for boost

I have just bought some boosts for my 110 but when I came to put the new spare on the back door I found it wouldn't fit the carrier already there which had the old steel wheel on it. The carrier fitted looks like this...

    New diesel 110 help

Its not just the engine you would have needed to check but the way its fitted. I had a RRC with a big Perkins in it. A great engine for the right vehicle but in the rangey it kept breaking fuel pipes with the vibration, then the exhaust and so on. I swore I would never get another non landy...

How tolerant of leaks can you be?

My thoughts were exactly that plus the chance of oil contamination during the operation. Going to get it steam cleaned off and see how it goes but my trouble is I do like things to be right.....I hate it when there's something wrong.

How tolerant of leaks can you be?

its an engine out job to get to the seal between engine and gearbox and then gearbox out for the seal between gearbox and transfer box and then you may as well put a new clutch in and then........

How tolerant of leaks can you be?

Sorry I appear to have been whining there. just a bit fed up as I am putting so much effort into getting this car absolutely right and this has got me a bit cheesed off.

How tolerant of leaks can you be?

My old 1988 110 has been parked up for about 6 weeks after I had spinal surgery and couldn't drive. I did go out and heave myself in with some difficulty and run the engine for 20 minutes every few days though and this seemed to sort it. I am now ready to start using it again but have noticed (...

    taking off lift kit.

For the sake of 2 inches I think Id just leave it as is and only replace what was worn out. A difference of 2 inches makes no difference to handling or anything else so I don't think I would see the point of changing what you don't have to for no gain.

200tdi issues - the bad luck has to end soon right?

I find that if I am parking mine for any length of time it stars instantly if facing downhill but tales a few turns to start if facing uphill.

    Will Wolfs Fit?

Lol I did! See my second sentence.

    Will Wolfs Fit?

Of course its probably complicated by the fact I have spacers so its not the original studs that will be holding on the wheels more the studs on the spacers?

    Will Wolfs Fit?

Ok so they fit that's good. I used to have a Disco 2 so hence my confusion about PCD. Thank you one and all for the replies its much appreciated.

    Will Wolfs Fit?

I have a 1988 110 with drums on the rear. I currently have spacers fitted as it has alloys on it but have seen some Wolf rims with 265 tyres that I fancy for off road use. Can anyone tell me if they will fit as I know LR wheels changed PCD for the TD5 version and I don't know which vehicle the...

    Door lock

Mine had same symptom and needed a new lock. A spring somewhere inside had let go and broken so wouldn't even catch when I closed the door. replacement was very fiddly and I would advise take plenty of photos before you start dismantling so you know where everything connects.
