Can you enter the car and lower the passenger side window, if so lower the window glass all the way and with a wooden wedge you will be able to push the white lever off the lower switch unit and open the door.

    SRS ECU Internal Fault

Good point. Last year I had the SRS light on all the time after the initial warning lamp test. I tried all the underseat connectors etc etc but had no luck so put on TestBook. I can't remember the fault code recorded so will have a look at my sheets to see if I recorded it and get back to you on...

    SRS ECU Internal Fault

if you have an SRS light on all the time, whatever you do - as advice above, it could also be one of the SRS bulbs has gone. If one lamp fails the DCU will illuminate the other bulb permanently to indicate that a system fault is present. ie warning lamp bulb failure.

    Rebuilt Thor engine from Emmotts

If you buy it back? seeing as it was a Thor so car is late99 or 2001 ?? I would be interested, at the right price, in buying the HK DSP Radio Amp fitted behind the subwoofer. Bet you could sell off a load of parts.

    Air Suspension Valve Block

Four year old bags! if Dulops this could be the problem I had to replace mine at about that time (I do high mileage and live close to the sea but don't know if that has any effect). Some people have bags that have lasted eight or more years?? As Datatek says full height setting could seal a...

    Brake fluid change

Yes I was being a bit over the top on that. Regular change is a good idea some people have never changed their fluid! Seems odd that he changed the fluid and says he has just 2 or maybee 3mm on the brake pads and scored ?? discs so he is going to get a good bit of his new fluid back when he...

    Air Suspension Valve Block

Think I am with Datatek on the air bags? how old are they? Garages don't spend much time looking at slow leaks so don't rely on that. Our local B&Q sells a spray tin of gas detection spray for about a fiver. Put the car on high setting and spray the air springs, and any connectors up to and...

    Decat..

On a petrol it helps if you have just two lambdas before the cats so if you remove the cats it won't affect running. I am not in the UK so no cats just more power. When I removed the cats the exhaust noise was up so replaced the cats with small straight through cans, they look a bit like sports...

    P38 Spare Wheel Carrier.

The, in the boot space, wouldn't work for me. It is where the CD changer and subwoofer sit. Also you would have to remove the wheel to get to the now unused original wheel well. And loose a lot of boot space. Would be interested in an external, behind the tailgate though. Used to have a Pivtel...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

An ignition system with a coil, great, and normally reliable!!! - if you read a recent good Sunday Newspaper there is a story about an AA man who attended an early Landy in a field which would not start so noticing a selection of vegetables in the field he wired a potato to replace a capacitor...
